Maximiliano Schunke Gomes
Introduction
Holds a degree in Dentistry from UFRGS (1999), Specialization (2002) and Masters (2005) in Endodontics by ULBRA, Specialization in Health Management (2009) by UFRGS School of Administration, and PhD in Endodontics at UFRGS (2013). Received the Honorary Mention of the CAPES Thesis Award (2014), with a sandwich internship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, USA, in 2011. He was a postdoctoral fellow of CNPq / RHAE by PUCRS in 2015. He is currently Adjunct Professor of the Disciplines of Endodontics, and Permanent Professor of PPG in Dentistry of the School of Health Sciences of PUCRS. He is the leader of the Research Group on Etiopathogenesis, Treatment and Systemic Impacts of Periodontal, Pulp and Periapical Diseases, certified by CNPq. He is currently President of the Endodontics Teachers Group of RS (GPERGS). Has experience in Dentistry, with emphasis on Endodontics, working mainly in the following subjects: endodontics, systemic repercussion of endodontic infections, military dentistry, health management, epidemiology.
