Introduction

Political scientist, adjunct professor at the School of Humanities at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Permanent faculty member, master's and doctoral advisor in the Graduate Program in Sociology and Political Science (PUCRS). Faculty member and member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus of the Bachelor's program in International Relations (PUCRS). Holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). With over fifteen years of experience in the public sector, including roles as a research analyst at the Foundation for Economics and Statistics (FEE) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Serves as co-leader researcher of the OAPOC Research Group - Observatory of Transnational Collective Action and Comparative Politics (PUCRS - CNPq). Also serves as the editor of the Conversas Controvérsias Journal. Proficient in the field of Political Science, with a focus on Comparative Government Systems, primarily working on the following themes: representation, international relations, democracy, and political power. A member of the Brazilian Association of Political Science (ABCP), the Latin American Association of Political Science (ALACIP), the International Political Science Association (IPSA), the Brazilian Association of International Relations (ABRI), and the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-RS, licensed).
