Introduction

Physical Therapist graduated at the Methodist University Center (2000), PhD in Biological Sciences (Physiology) at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2006) and Post-doctorate at the University of Edinburgh (2010) and Universidad Europea de Madrid (2020). Currently, actuates as an international professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, linked to the School of Medicine. Supervisor in the Graduate Program in Pediatrics and Child Health and in the Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Reviewer for journals such as Respiratory Care, The Journal of Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology, Plos One, Reproduction, Fertility and Development and the Brazilian Journal of Pulmonology. Research actuation in the Infant Center studying the mechanisms involved in the effects of stress on the development and also in the area of functional capacity and rehabilitation in chronic respiratory diseases, focusing on cystic fibrosis and asthma, working with both clinical studies and experimental models. Coordinator of the Pediatric Physical Activity Laboratory and researcher with a fellowship from CNPq (PQ, category 1D).
