Introduction

He holds a law degree from the University of Brasília (1993), a master's degree in law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1996) and a doctorate in law from the Federal University of Paraná (2002). Completed postdoc at the Universitat de Barcelona (2020). He was professor of the Postgraduate Program in Law at UNISINOS (master's and doctorate), Higher Education Evaluator MEC / INEP / OAB and Counselor and Vice-President of the Amnesty Commission of the Ministry of Justice. He is currently a professor at the Graduate Program in Criminal Sciences at PUC-RS (master's and doctorate) and at the School of Law at PUC-RS. He is also a CNPq Productivity Scholar. He has experience in the area of ​​Law, with an emphasis on Philosophy of Law, Criminology and Human Rights, acting mainly on the following themes: transitional justice, crimes of the powerful, philosophical and legal hermeneutics, legal pluralism and legal education. He currently focuses his research and other academic activities on the themes of Transitional Justice and Crimes of the Powerful.
