Introduction

She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1989), a master's degree in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1995) and a PhD in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2001). She was visiting student at the University of Queensland (2000). She completed her sabbatical at HEC Montreal (2022) and was a visiting scholar by Fulbrihgt at the Thunderbird School of Global Management (2006). She was also a visiting researcher at the following institutions: University of Stavanger (2019), Technische Universität Dortmund (2018), University of Texas Pan American (2009), Technical University of Lisbon (2006) and The University of Queensland (2003). She is currently deputy coordinator of the postgraduate programs in Administration, Public Administration, Accounting and Tourism, at the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). She has experience in Administration, with an emphasis on Strategy, working mainly on the following subjects: competencies, social innovation, dynamic capabilities and strategy.
