School of Technology professor strengthen ties with German university
Cesar Augusto De Rose went on a Work Mission to TU Berlin
School of Technology professor, Dr. Cesar Augusto De Rose, went on a Work Mission to Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin), Germany, on PrInt. His visit served to strengthen the existing partnership between PUCRS and the German university, which has been around for over 20 years and has led to several projects in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
De Rose met with the TU Berlin mobility coordinator to discuss mobility opportunities for German students at PUCRS. He also talked to members of the School of Electrical Engineering and School of Computer Science to discuss partnership opportunities. As of now, a formal agreement with PUCRS is in place for new research projects and student mobility.
De Rose e also delivered a lecture to graduate students from the research group in Operating and Distributed Systems at the German institution, supervised by Prof. Odek Kao. De Rose took the chance to introduce some of the studies that are being developed at PUCRS and the PrInt program.
His mission was developed under the international cooperation project Technology, Energy and Natural Resources: New Paths to Sustainability, under the priority area Technology and Biodiversity: Sustainability, Energy and the Environment.
