Lecture | Transdisciplinarity: A new method of doing science with and for society
Visiting professor Dr Roland Scholz to deliver lecture on Nov 18
On Nov 18, at 5:30 PM, the Visiting Professor from Danube University Krems, Austria, Dr Roland Scholz will be delivering the lecture Transdisciplinarity, a new method of doing science with and for society: Preparing science for contributing to a sustainable use of digital technology, under the Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt). In his lecture, he will be discussing transdisciplinarity, as he will be presenting the conceptual and methodological foundations, as well as functions and findings. Scholz will also be talking about how transdisciplinarity can be used locally in Brazil or South America to deal with permanent problems.
The session will occur at the Auditorium of Living 360º (Building 15 on the Main Campus – Av. Ipiranga, 6.681). The lecture will be delivered in English, with simultaneous translation. No early registration is required.
