Business School professor Dr Edimara Luciano went to Danube University Krems (DUK), Austria, in support of the Institutional Project of Internationalization PUCRS-PrInt under the cooperation project Macro and microeconomic aspects associated with economic, social, human and environmental development , coordinated by her. The partnership between PUCRS and DUK has been around since 2016, but gained momentum in 2018 as a number of international projects between the institutions have been in place.
During her stay at the university, Edimara presented PUCRS-PrInt opportunities and reinforced the interest in continue working with the Austrian institution. In a visit to the Centre for E-Governance at the Department of E-Governance and Administration, the Business School professor discussed possibilities for double degrees and a cooperation agreement.
“The mission also gave her the chance to finish an article written with peers from the Austrian institution on the barriers to open government in Austria and Brazil”, Edimara says. In November, DUK professor Roland Scholz will be coming to PUCRS under PUCRS-PrInt. On top of that, professors Gabriela Pereira and Thomas Lampoltshammer have their trips scheduled for 2020.
