Lecture | Ethical considerations on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
University of Miami professor, Dr. Sérgio Litewka, to hold session on May 26
On May 26, at 9 AM, University of Miami (U.S.) professor, Dr. Sérgio Litewka, will be delivering the lecture Ethical Considerations on the Use of Artificial Intelligence, on the Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt). At the event, Litewka will be presenting new ethical challenges emphasizing the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in health care and its applications for prognosis, diagnosis and models for clinical decisions.
The session will address the methodological and ethical adversities on the quality of data underlying decision-making by AI systems. Professor Litewka will also point out new paths on security and transparency, governance, responsibility of software programmers and hospitals that use such systems.
