The Temperature and Relative Humidity Laboratory is qualified to provide calibration support in the area of thermometry, including a range of products involving different types of sensors, such as thermocouples, thermistors, capacitive sensors and others. These devices measure temperature or humidity and supply voltage or resistance in proportion to the value measured. The lab is also qualified to calibrate conventional glass thermometers and equipment for measuring relative humidity.

In a pioneering initiative and through the excellent technical level of its staff, the laboratory developed a calibration system and procedure for Liquid-in-Glass Thermometers, which significantly reduces the uncertainty of the final measurement by means of a digital imaging system.

Created in 1997, the lab has been catering to the Brazilian market for 14 years. It initially focused on calibrating TLV’s, thermocouples and thermistors, and has systematically expanded its area of expertise to cover all the market’s needs.
