The web map offers various features to assist users in accessing geospatial information of interest. Users can select layers for independent or overlapping viewing, zoom in or search for areas of interest, view the attribute table of the displayed data, apply filters, and perform measurements.

The web map provides data on stationary CO2 emission sources, with annual emissions data; areas subject to protection or restrictions, such as permanent preservation areas (PPAs), conservation units, water supply wells, among others; infrastructure information, including the existence of pipelines, gas pipelines and transportation networks (highways, railways, and waterways); subsurface geological data, such as sedimentary basins, exploratory wells, geophysical data, the location of formations of interest for the storage system (reservoir-seal) and CO2 storage resources; and, finally, products generated from the CO2 Storage Resources Management System (SRMS) classification methodology.
