Project presentation:
Development and testing of gaseous tracer techniques as a monitoring method for use in geological CO2 storage projects, with the aim of monitoring the displacement of the CO2 plume in the reservoir and detecting leaks.
The monitoring methods in the laboratory and in the field were validated and numerical modeling results were obtained simulating hypothetical scenarios of leaks and integration of tools for the preparation of monitoring plans.
