Shale
R&D Project – Study of shales as unconventional reservoirs: an integrated approach between petrology, geochemistry, petrophysics and geomechanics.
Characterization and integrated study of shales and associated rocks with potential to be exploited as unconventional natural gas or oil reservoirs.

Project presentation:
This study involved the development of methodologies for integrating petrological, geochemical, geomechanical and petrophysical data, capable of generating knowledge about the depositional and diagenetic processes of these rocks that influence the configuration of an unconventional reservoir, and that can be used in the exploration of these resources. with integration of well and seismic data.
