Project presentation:
Study of rock-fluid interactions applied to pre-salt reservoir quality prediction. A study of the geological processes (depositional, diagenetic, volcanic, hydrothermal) that occurred during the deposition and burial of pre-salt sediments was carried out through experimental simulation, in addition to carrying out complementary numerical modeling and development of experiments to understand biogeochemical interactions that may have affected the pre-salt reservoirs. The integration of experimental, numerical and biogeochemical modeling produced unprecedented results for the development of concepts used in the prediction of reservoir quality in the pre-salt interval.
