Project presentation:
Acquisition of equipment to carry out continuous flow experiments in rock cores from the pre-salt interval and/or similar ones. The main equipment acquired in this project was: multifunctional flow system for studies of CO2 sequestration and water-rock interactions, X-ray microtomograph and high pressure and high temperature system.
With the implementation of the project, CEPAC laboratories became qualified to carry out complete geological and geochemical studies on the reactivity and physical-chemical alterations of reservoirs and seal of the pre-salt interval.
