Project presentation:
CO₂ removal technologies such as Direct Air CO₂ Capture (DAC) promise reliable CO₂ removal consistent with the stringent targets needed to advance action on climate change. In this context, IPR-PUCRS develops an RD&I project that addresses the implementation issues of an experimental DAC plant in Brazil.
The purpose of this project is to support the adjustments to the facilities and low-complexity renovations at IPR-PUCRS for the implementation of a laboratory to carry out RD&I activities associated with the characterization of materials, performance tests and validation of technologies for Direct Capture processes of CO₂ from the Air (DAC) and consolidate the expansion of the Institute’s existing technical-analytical capacity.
