The objective of the Graduate Program in Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity is to promote world class scientific training on integrated research focusing on ecology, evolutionary history and biodiversity conservation. An additional focus is to promote international scientific partnerships by attracting a large proportion of students from other countries, as well as by facilitating the interactions of Brazilian students with foreign collaborators.
The program’s scope includes a varied array of studies targeting biodiversity, including cutting edge multidisciplinary, genomic, paleobiological, behavioral and ecological approaches, as well as applied studies of sanitary, economic, social or environmental importance.
