All journals published by EDIPUCRS are members of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and follow the principles recommended by this international reference organization on integrity and ethics in scientific publication.
EDIPUCRS is following the global trend of presenting scientific communication in electronic form. In addition to democratize and disseminate knowledge, this format is environmentally friendly, simplifies the management and enables publication in a shorter time.
EDIPUCRS manages the PUCRS Journals Portal, which was released in 2006. This University Publisher currently publishes 25 journals, being 08 available in both media (print and online) and 17 exclusively in electronic media. The EDIPUCRS journals use the Open Journal Systems (OJS) under the concept of open access. We follow the principle that open access to scientific communication allows greater global exchange of knowledge.
