Cees is primarily a center for education and research, but plays a significant role in the academic and civil society, both at the national and international level. In addition to the usual activities in research, teaching and knowledge production, Cees members deliver seminars, work on research projects and take part in science commissions in several public and private agencies. They may work as editors, managers or administrators in scientific institutions and science and technology research groups of excellence. Cees issues decisions to national and international science and technology development agencies and also coordinates scientific commissions.
