Michelina D’Alesio collaborates in international research group involving PUCRS and UNIMOL
Professor Michelina D’Alesio, from Università degli Studi della Basilicata, Italy, came to PUCRS to attend the conferences A formação de professores na Itália, nas primeiras décadas do século XX (Teacher training in Italy in the first decades of the 20th century) and A educação nos contextos rurais da Itália, entre liberalismo e o fascismo (Education in rural contexts in Italy, between liberalism and fascism. The conferences were promoted by the School of Humanities and by the graduate programs in Education and History.
Michelina is a member of the research group involving PUCRS and Università degli Studi del Molise (UNIMOL), which is coordinated by Professor Maria Helena Camara Bastos and by researcher Alberto Barausse, who has been serving as a Visiting professor at PUCRS since 2015. This group is also affiliated to the research group TRANSFOPRESS Brasil – Imprensa em língua estrangeira entre identidade e alteridade (TRANSFOPRESS Brasil – Foreign language press between identity and alterity), whose scope of operation is local and global.
The universities is working on a cooperation agreement to encourage the continuous development of activities that have been in progress since 2016. Some of the future initiatives include: organization of a seminar in Italy in 2019 and a book/thematic report including the group’s research production. One of the group’s project has been embraced by the Capes/PrInt grant. During the visit to PUCRS, D´Alesio was welcomed at the Office for International Cooepration by the Dean, Dr Heloisa Delgado.
