Cristian Melendez visited Lexis and discussed possibility to offer Portuguese program at his university

PUCRS opened its doors to the Director of the English Department at Universidade Católica de El Salvador (UNICAE), Mr Cristian Melendez, in June. The Salvadorean professor signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen the ties between the universities. It is expected to take effect soon as new joint opportunities are expected to arise.
In this sense, Mr Melendez joined meetings at Lexis – PUCRS Language Center, in an effort to bring the quality of language teaching in El Salvador to a higher level. Melendez discussed the possibility to offer a Portuguese program to his students and the development of strategic partnerships with PUCRS.

His visit to PUCRS occurred shortly after the visit made by the President of UNICAE, Bishop Miguel Móran and Vice President Dr Moisés Martínez, in May. Melendez was welcomed at the Office for International Cooperation, as he learned about the structure of PUCRS and the Movement 360º.
