Tecnopuc makes presence felt at GSG Impact Summit 2019 in Buenos Aires

The Superintendent for Innovation and Development of PUCRS, Dr Jorge Audy, represented Tecnopuc at the GSG Impact Summit 2019, the most important international event on high-impact social and environmental business. The event took place from Nov 18 – 19 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and congregated hundreds of impact leaders, investors and entrepreneurs.
Audy introduced the audience to the actions that have been developed at Tecnopuc’s impact business area. “I reported our experience in creating a Social Impact sector at Tecnopuc. This is the first initiative of this kind in Brazil, ”he said. He also shared information the joint project involving the Institute of Corporate Citizenship and Porto Digital, Recife’s Technology Park.
The GSG addressed issues on the transformation of the economy and societies from high-impact innovative businesses. Discussions focused on linear and circular economics, green and blue economics, a new vision for applying philanthropy resources, and purposeful, value-based business models.
