Istanbul event brought together representatives of Technology Parks from more than 100 countries
The director of PUCRS’ Science and Technology Park (Tecnopuc), Rafael Prikladnicki, the manager of PUCRS’ Raiar , Leandro Pompermaier and the director of AGT, Ricardo Bastos, represented Tecnopuc at the 34th Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), in September, in Istanbul. The event brought together representatives of Technology Parks from more than 100 countries and this year’s event focused on innovation ecosystems and future strategies for these environments.
Dr Prikladnicki introduced PUCRS’ CriaLab – Creativity Laboratory. In his opinion, it has been an excellent opportunity to introduce the world to the actions that have been done in Porto Alegre and expand connections with other countries such as England, Turkey, Netherlands, Slovenia, Tunisia, Russia, Panama and China.
Prikladnicki also attended a lecture on technology parks of the future which made it clear to participants that entrepreneurs will be continuously challenged to reinvent themselves. “Innovation environments of the future have to give room for collaboration, co-creation, open innovation and permanent interaction”.
