Incobra Info Session discussed cooperation activities in Research and Innovation between Brazil and the EU
PUCRS promoted the 2nd edition of Incobra Info Session, a series of conferences on Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, on Oct 27. Featuring the theme Responsible research and innovation: An opportunity for scientific exchange, the event was promoted by PUCRS’ Technology Transfer Office, in partnership with Increasing International STI Cooperation between Brazil and the European Union (Incobra), the Business School and CNPq.
Incobra is intended to guide, expand and improve the cooperation activities with Research and Innovation (R&I) actors from Brazil and the European Union, in order for them to receive mutual benefits. The information session fostered a discussion on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) in view of the fact that this topic may trigger scientific cooperation between Europe and Brazil, and will generate exchange possibilities, mutual learning and collaborative actions.
The event featured Dr. Ineke Malsch, European expert in RRI, who talked about “RRI state-of-the-art: where does it come from? Where does it take?” and “RRI in Europe: trends, challenges and opportunities”. Malsch also joined a session on “RRI in the context of EU-Brazil cooperation: what is at stake?”
