One of the most important neurosurgeons around the globe and current president of the International Neuroscience Institute, Dr Majid Samii, visit PUCRS and the Brain Institute of RS (BraIns) to strengthen the ties between the institutions. Samii, who is of Iranian descent, talked to the residents and medical doctors at BraIns, exchanged experiences with them and learned about the project of expansion of the institute from the Superintendent of Teaching, Research and Development, Dr Douglas Sato.

Evilázio Teixeira, by the Senior Vice President Dr Jaderson Costa da Costa and by the Dean of the School of Humanities, Dr Draiton Gonzaga Souza.
