Program features language, culture and integration activities
The new edition of the program Portuguese for International Students for students on academic mobility at PUCRS in 2019/1 will occur from Feb 7-20, 2019. The 10-day program will run from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 11:50 AM, and will include some activities in the afternoons.
Its current edition features insights into the Portuguese language, cultural insights and integration activities for students to learn more about the Campus. Check out some of the activities that have been planned:
Portuguese classes
Portuguese for International Students consists of an intensive program of Portuguese as an Additional Language. Students will learn more about the language, the cultural aspects of Brazil and Rio Grande do Sul and the institution per se. This will help you prepare for the beginning of the academic semester.
Audiovisual workshop
Students will be invited to explore the campus and shoot a video following a workshop delivered by the Tecna (Audiovisual Technology Center of Rio Grande do Sul).
Aeronautical Sciences workshop
Students will have the opportunity to visit the laboratories of our School of Technology and learn more about the flight simulators and curiosities about the Aeronautical Sciences course.
Sports Park
Another afternoon will be devoted to sports and integration of international students at PUCRS Sports Park.
Crialab
Tecnopuc’s Creativity Laboratory is an area in constant evolution devoted to instigating students’ creativity. One of the afternoons will be reserved for an exclusive activity for international students.
Students can also find out more about the academic structures of PUCRS and meet other academic mobility students.
