Trip included visit to School of Technology and Tecnopuc

April was marked by the visit of professors Dr Romuald Bone and Dr Mikael Guegan and Emmanuelle Breviver, Dean of International Affairs of École nationale d’ingénieurs de Brest (ENIB). The French delegation was invited by PUCRS professors Dr Aurélio Salton, who coordinates the Programa Capes/Brafitec – an academic mobility program between Brazil and France –, and the program’s local coordinator, Guilherme Araujo Pimentel.
The visit was intended to discuss the double degree program between ENIB and PUCRS and introduce them to the School of Technology and PUCRS’ Science and Technology Park (Tecnopuc). The agreement between PUCRS and ENIB has been active since 2007.
In 2018, students in the Programa Brafitec are expected to go to ENIB to do courses in their field of study and join the project “Novo Engenheiro – Novo Futuro (New Engineer – New Future)”, in partnership with the institutions of ENI Group (Écoles Nationales d’Ingénieurs), which ENIB is part of.
The partners were welcomed at the Office of International and Institutional Affairs by the School of Technology’s Associate Dean, Dr Marcelo Yamaguti, the New Business and Innovation Specialist, Dr Maria Elisabete Haase-Möllmann, and professor Dr Guilherme Araujo Pimentel.
