Publication features events that marked University’s 70th anniversary
An English and Spanish version of PUCRS Magazine has just been published. The yearly publication features the most important achievements of 2018, the year that marked the University’s 70th anniversary, as it looked into its past and projected its future. The issue also includes a number of different reports: one on Building 15, an area for innovation in teaching and recreation, which is to expected to open in 2019; a report on the alliance intended to make Porto Alegre a complex of innovation; the undergraduate and graduate courses taught in English and an interview with oncologist Nelson Kalil, who now lives in the USA, on cancer treatment.
This is the magazine’s fifth issue in English and second in Spanish. It has been designed for international visitors and for PUCRS’ managers and faculty interested in improving the image of the institution all the world over.
