29th Conference and Annual Exhibition featured around 6,000 participants from 95 countries in Spain
The University made its presence felt at the 29th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for Internacional Education (EAIE), from Sept 12 – 15, at the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre, in Spain. The administrative coordinator of the Office of International and Institutional Affairs (AAII), Sandra Becker represented PUCRS at the event, among around 6,000 participants from 95 countries.
The program included workshops, talks, posters, exhibitions, lectures and networking sessions. The event’s theme was A mosaic of cultures – A metaphor appropriate to the work conducted by international educators.
“It’s very important for PUCRS is represented in such a big and significant event in the area of International Education. Such opportunities bring about fresh cultural and academic insights, partnerships and even cooperation and academic mobility agreements. Actually, some preliminary agreements have been established in order to expand and materialize the negotiations and intentions as defined in the event”, said Sandra.
