Br. Evilázio and Dr Jaderson Costa joined Dean of School of Humanities in old continent
The President of PUCRS, Br. Dr Evilázio Teixeira, the Senior Vice President, Prof. Dr Jaderson Costa da Costa, and the Dean of the School of Humanities, Prof. Dr Draiton Gonzaga de Souza, have embarked on an European mission that includes visits to Universities in Germany and a congress in Hungary. They were welcomed at the University of Bonn, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, German Research Foundation (DFG), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD), Heidelberg University, Karlsruhe Federal Constitutional Court and at the Centro Brasil of the University of Tübingen, from Sep 17-21.
GCUB Assembly in Hungary
After visiting Germany, both the President and the Senior Vice president will be going to Hungary for the XI General Assembly and X International Seminar of the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), organized by GCUB and by Hungarian Rectors’ Conference (HRC). The event takes place from Sep 24 – 27 at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and its main theme is “Global Universities in the XXI Century: Characteristics, trends and main challenges.” Br. Evilázio will be talking about Social Responsibility, Innovation and Entrepreneurship permeating the actions of Universities in the 21st century.
