Free program features entrepreneur Luiza Trajano and historian Leandro Karnal
More than 900,000 applicants have signed up for the course on Professional, Emotional and Technological Skills for Times of Change. The program is being delivered by one of the most prominent figures of Brazilian entrepreneurship in Brazil, Luiza Trajano, and one of the greatest thinkers of the present times, Leandro Karnal. It is offered under the PUCRS Online program, which is run by UOL EdTech.
The course consists of three classes and will discuss how professionals can adapt to critical moments such as the one we are going through. It takes into account aspects associated with professional career, emotional needs and technological innovation.
According to data and business forecasting, the job market has been changing significantly. Telecommuting and the need for social isolation are only two aspects of these changes.
Luiza Trajano currently heads one of the largest retail chains in Brazil and has become a prominent figure in female leadership, innovation and strategic management. “Companies whose staff is more aligned and more committed to their organizations will last longer,” she adds.
Leandro Karnal, another instructor of the course, points out: “The more a person invests in education, the more they can adapt to a changing market. So much so that, in a crisis, a professional’s emotional intelligence can make a difference between success or failure”.
The way he sees it, “The epidemic we are going through calls for some sort of strategic optimism and a reflection on the future, which are two tools that require a lot of information and demand action,” he says.
Overall, the course consists of a workload of four hours and attendees will be entitled to a certificate. To learn more, please go to the program’s official website.
