Magdalena Ciesielska, from Gdańska University of Technology, discussed cooperation possibilities
Earlier this month, the Office for International Cooperation of PUCRS welcomed Gdańska University of Technology (Poland) professor, Magdalena Ciesielska. She came to PUCRS for the event Smart Cities: from research to reality, organized by Business School professor, Dr. Edimara Luciano. Ciesielska, an assistant professor in the Department of Management Informatics, Faculty of Management and Economics at the Polish institution, currently develops research on digital transformation, legal and managerial aspects of digital government and sustainable development.
Magdalena was welcomed by the Deputy Executive Coordinator of the Office for International Cooperation, Dr. Carla Bonan. The visitor learned a little more about the structure of PUCRS and explored the possibility to celebrate a cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
The visiting professor is working under the CAP4CITY, a program funded by the Erasmus initiative. The project operates in a consortium with 12 Higher Education Institutions from different countries, including PUCRS. The idea is to develop governance capacity in smart and sustainable cities.
