With more than four decades of existence, the new edition features a new graphic and editorial project
PUCRS Magazine has a new look. With more than four decades of existence, the publication has gone through a major revitalization process. In his opening message in the publication, PUCRS’ President, Brother Evilázio Teixeira, talked about the inspiration for revamping this important channel of communication with the community. “Driven by the concerns of a new future, our desire to create and see changes has also emerged around here”.
In the printed and digital version, in both Portuguese and English, the magazine is still plural, attractive and keeps with PUCRS high quality and excellence standards, addressing relevant issues in the academic world and regarding other of the University’s fronts of action.
Produced by PUCRS Office of Communications and Marketing, this edition features 64 pages from 60 different sources at the University, including students, professors, managers, and employees.
The special article in this edition invites us to think about what this new tomorrow will look like in terms of post-pandemic education, how the teaching and learning processes are today and how they may be like in the future. It also seeks to examine the complexity of the relationships involving the teacher-student dynamics.
Themes related to science, innovation, the environment, and spirituality are also addressed in the publication. Using hyperlink resources in the digital version and QR codes in the print edition, much of the magazine’s content is linked to related subjects or allows the reader to access the full texts.
