BraIns Superintendent is first PUCRS representative and only Brazilian in ISNI today
Sato is the first representative of PUCRS only Brazilian at ISNI
The Superintendent for Teaching, Research, Development and Innovation of the Brain Institute of RS (BraIns), Douglas Sato MD, has been selected to join the International Society of Neuroimmunology (ISNI). He is among the 12 new board members who have been selected by a group of more than 200 voters.
Sato is the first representative of PUCRS at ISNI and the only Brazilian in the society today. His duties will include, among other things, the organization and development of the 15th International Congress of Immunology, from Nov 2 – 6, 2020, in Nice, France.
ISNI
Since its foundation in 1982, the Society has played a very important role in advancing research and studies in the area of neuroimmunology, by offering training programs and international congresses to foster the exchange of experiences among specialists all over the world.
