Activity brought together international students and university buddies

International students and their university buddies enjoyed an afternoon filled with interactive activities and experiments at the PUCRS’ Science and Technology Museum (MCT) on Apr 12. Students from nine countries attended the session headed by the Academic Mobility team: Germany, Canada, Chile, Spain, France, Mexico, Portugal, UK and Sweden.
For Zaira da Silva, a Universidad de León student, the human body exhibit was the most interesting part of the visit. I enjoyed the tour especially because I come from a very small town and we don’t have big museums like this. It is amazing to have interaction as this makes learning more dynamic and interesting”, says the Physiotherapy major.
The visit is another action in support of the calendar of activities brought forth by the Office for International Cooperation, in an effort to introduce the new students to the different areas on Campus and give them a chance to experience something new during their mobility program.
University Buddy
The University Buddy is an initiative to welcome international students and integrate them to PUCRS students to make their adaptation easier at the University and in Porto Alegre.
