Students from Germany, Bolivia, Colombia, Spain, France, Mexico and the UK joined integration activity
International students at PUCRS joined a boat trip around the Guaíba lake on the traditional Cisne Branco boat on Oct 29. The trip has been a must-do for tourists and people seeking entertainment in Porto Alegre for over 40 years.
It has been included in the calendar of activities for international students in an effort to contribute to their sociocultural adaptation and academic integration. Students from Germany, Bolivia, Colombia, Spain, France, Mexico and the UK joined integration activity. The University Buddies and the Academic Mobility team made their presences felt, too.
In September, the students attended a traditional dinner at CTG Aldeia dos Anjos to celebrate the Semana Farroupilha. The actions were planned by the Office for International Cooperation.
Every semester, PUCRS opens its doors to students from different countries. It relies on a dedicated group to advise and welcome them. To find out more, click here. The Academic Mobility team is available for further information about Academic Mobility at PUCRS [email protected].
