Event has been organized by Academic Mobility
International students on mobility at PUCRS enjoyed an afternoon of sports and integration activities at the Sports Park on Apr 26. Students from Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Spain and France teamed up and chose to play volleyball.
The Academic Mobility team, in partnership with the Sports Park, was responsible for the activity, which was meant to encourage sports practice and interculturality among students. The University Buddies, and members of the Academic Mobility joined the international students that came to PUCRS this semester in the event.
Vitor Peixoto, who works with incoming students at the Office of International and Institutional Affairs (AAII), claims that this is an opportunity to enjoy PUCRS’ facilities and bring students closer together. “We have a wide variety of possibilities for students and it is important to share everything we have to offer with those who have chosen us for an academic exchange”, says he.
At the and, a backpack was raffled off. Jaime Martínez Yañez, from Universidad de Celaya, in Mexico, who is now attending the School of Technology of PUCRS has won it.
