Consul General of Germany and representatives learned more about PUCRS' health care programs
The Consul General of Germany for Porto Alegre, Milan Simandl, came to PUCRS with the representatives of the country’s Federal Employment Agency to strengthen ties and discuss new possibilities for partnerships in the health area. Among the representatives were the International Relations specialist, Sebastián Merle, as well as Neanis d’el Lutzer Thomaz and Andrea Degenkolbe.
The visitors were welcomed by Dr. Draiton de Souza, Dean of PUCRS’ School of Humanities and director of the Center for European and German Studies (CDEA), and Dr. Ana Figueiredo, Dr. Regis Mestre and Dr. Roberta Palazzo from the Nursing, Physiotherapy and Biomedicine programs. The agenda included a presentation of PUCRS’ health programs and job opportunities in Germany for professionals in the area.
The guests also introduced the university’s infrastructure to the German visitors. The delegation visited the Nursing, Physiotherapy and Biomedicine laboratories, as well as the PUCRS’ Science and Technology Park (Tecnopuc).
