Event gathered national and international specialists aiming to train and qualify researchers in ethical aspects of research
In order to create and strengthen an institutional culture geared toward quality and reliability on the knowledge produced, PUCRS’ Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation and Development and the University of Miami have promoted an event Ethics and Integrity in Higher Education for researchers, faculty, students, and administrative staff.
The event gathered national and international specialists, such as the Director of International Operations for the Ethics Programs of the University of Miami, Dr. Sérgio Litewka, and Dr. Sônia Vasconcelos, Associate Professor of the Science Education Program of UFRJ’s Institute of Medical Biochemistry, aiming to train and qualify researchers in ethical aspects of research through lectures and roundtables covering topics as education and guidance on research integrity.
