Academic activities will resume online on Thursday
In view of the rapid spike in the number of COVID-19 cases all over the country, the Office of the President of PUCRS has decided to suspend on-site classes as of Mar 16, at 12:00 PM. Academic activities will resume using online delivery methods from Thursday, Mar 19, until Apr 12.
This applies to both undergraduate and graduate programs. Qualification exams and dissertations defenses will be held online. Continued education programs (certificate and extension), as well as internships and practicum activities will follow specific guidelines. These measures will be enforced to ensure the safety of the community and their families, without compromising the academic calendar.
Other activities involving the institution’s staff will be gradually adapted in an effort to ensure the safety of employees at all levels. The University’s official channels will provide frequent updates to all of the institution’s audiences.
