UCSC representatives participated in a one-week program focused on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship
Last week PUCRS received the visit of a group of 14 representatives from the Chilean Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (UCSC). The institution is a partner of PUCRS and sought the university for a technical mission focused on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. The Office for International Cooperation built the agenda according to the interests of the visitors, presenting different areas of the university and the professionals involved.
Among the visitors were Innovation Director Emma Chávez Mora, Head of the Innovation Support Unit Gonzalo del Río Reyes, Innovation Manager Héctor Acuña San Martíne, and Project Manager Yoselin Morales Herrera. The administrative coordinator of the Office for International Cooperation maintains a consolidated partnership with the Chilean university, having integrated other collaborative projects on different fronts.
Visitors were welcomed at Living 360o by the team of the Office for International Cooperation and, throughout the week, they got to know the projects developed, learned from University professionals, and exchanged experiences. With a special focus on innovation and technology, visitors went to PUCRS’ Science and Technology Park and had the opportunity to talk to Innovation Superintendent Jorge Audy.
The group also met with managers of the InovaPUCRS Network, Biohub, Startups Development Program, and visited the Health, Agro and Artificial Intelligence Hubs and the TECNA Audiovisual Production Center. Besides, they had meetings with areas such as the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, the Project Agency, Research Institutes and PUCRS Interdisciplinary Lab for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Idear).
