Eric Gelinas welcomed at University's International Cooperation Office
On Thursday, Oct 17, PUCRS welcomed Canada’s Consul General, Eric Gelinas. The diplomat runs the Brazil-Canada Trade Program in São Paulo and was in the company of the Trade Commissioner of the Government of Canada Trade Office for the South Region, Paulo Orlandi.
The visitors were welcomed by Carla da Silva, Executive Coordinator of the Office for International Cooperation and Business School professor, Dr André Duhá. The meeting served to reinforce the mutual interest in strengthening international cooperation between the University and Canadian institutions, especially in terms of double degrees.
Currently, PUCRS has cooperation agreements with 10 Canadian universities. The agreements set the rules for joint research and academic mobility. Canada is also one of the partner countries of the Institutional Project of Internationalization (PUCRS-PrInt).
