Mírian Oliveira expected to continue working on cooperation projects with Portuguese institution
Professor Mírian Oliveira, of the Business School‘s Graduate Program in Business Administration (PPGAd), went to the Universidade de Lisboa, in Portugal, to serve as a Visiting Professor. She was awarded a grant through the Institutional Program of Internationalization PUCRS-PrInt and will be in Portugal for three months. Mírian is embraced by the project Macro and microeconomic aspects associated with economic development, coordinated by Professor Edimara Mezzomo Luciano, under the priority area World in Motion: Individuals and Society.
She had been working on cooperation projects in Portugal, especially after she completed her postdoc research from 2007 to 2008. In 2019, PPGAd PhD student Andrea Raymundo Balle defended her dissertation as a double degree with Universidade de Lisboa. She was advised by Mírian and by Professor Carla Curado (ISEG/UL). During her stay in Portugal, Mírian is expected to continue working on new projects at the institution.
Some of the activities include: joint research with Professor Carla Curado on Knowledge Management; a 1-credit seminar for graduate students in the institution and a presentation of an article at the Annual Conference of European Academy of Management (EURAM).
