German authorities Dr. Georg Witschel, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany in Brazil, and Dr. Stefan Traumann, General Consul of Consulate General of Germany in Porto Alegre, visited PUCRS.
Welcomed by the President of PUCRS, Dr. Joaquim Clotet, and the Head of PUCRS’ School of Humanities, Dr. Draiton de Souza, the German authorities visited the President’s Office and Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation and Development, aiming to strengthen the collaborative partnership between the governmental institutions and PUCRS.
Having been the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Jakarta (2012-2016), this is Dr. Georg Witschel’s first visit to the state of Rio Grande do Sul and PUCRS as new Ambassador of Germany in Brazil. This visit consolidated a long-standing partnership between the diplomatic authorities of Germany and PUCRS.
