Dr Filipe Pereira da Silva delivered a workshop on cognition and the concept of knowledge in the Middle Ages

The Graduate Program in Philosophy , in partnership with the Research Group of Middle Ages Philosophy (CNPq) and Editora fi, have recently promoted the 1st Workshop on Cognition and Knowledge in the Middle Ages. Eight professors were invited, including Dr Jose Filipe Pereira da Silva, from the University of Helsinki (Finland).
The event addressed research perspectives in view of the several schools of medieval philosophy and their influences on the knowledge theory. Besides, it encouraged the study of history of philosophy among young researchers, as well as among students of philosophy and related areas.
