Josep Piquè came to Tecnopuc to talk about innovation ecosystems

The second edition of Projeto Horizontes 2017 (Horizons Project) brought Josep Piquè, president of the International Association of Science and Technology Parks (IASP) to Tecnopuc. He came to the university to talk about “Ecosystems of Innovation: The path to grow”, on Aug 17.
Piquè’s visit was an opportunity to learn more about the views of the world’s biggest authority in innovation habitats. Before serving as president of IASP, Piquè was one of the creator of the project 22@ Barcelona and Head of the Office of Economic Growth of the City of Barcelona, being responsible for the implementation of the project that made Barcelona a global reference in terms of smart cities and innovation districts.
Organized by PUCRS’ Office of the Vice President for Research (Propesq), Horizons Project relies on a series of conferences that address contemporary issues. It makes it possible for scientists, scholars and teaching faculty of PUCRS’ Graduate Programs to have an interdisciplinary experience.
