Students from four countries made videos about language of Rio Grande do Sul
Students from Colombia, South Korea, Spain and Mexico who are enrolled in an academic mobility program at PUCRS this semester attended the videotaping and editing workshop at Videolab, at the School of Communications, Arts and Design (Famecos). They had the chance to learn about the concepts of filming, lighting, framing, and find out a little more about audiovisual production machines.
They also made videos about some typical expressions of Rio Grande do Sul. The new residents of Porto Alegre explained phrases such as “me caiu os butiás do bolso”, “em cima do laço” and words such as “tchê” and “bergamota”. The final production should be available on the social media of the Academic Mobility.
The workshop occurred on Aug 28 and was promoted by Famecos in partnership with the Office for International Cooperation. It is in the calendar of activities international students are offered. It was coordinated by professors Dr Helena Stigger and Dr Ana Roig.
