New version of the program features language and cultural insights and integration activities
The Office for International Cooperation has remodeled the Portuguese language program that will be offered to international students in the second semester of 2018. The new program consists of 10 classes, and will be offered during the week that precedes the beginning of the academic semester, from Jul 16 – 27. It will feature language and cultural insights as well as integration activities to introduce students to the Main Campus.
In addition to the language to be taught, students will have the chance to ask questions about the academic aspects of PUCRS, learn the cultural aspects of Porto Alegre and Rio Grande do Sul and meet other academic mobility students. Dr Heloísa Delgado, Dean of International Cooperation, claims that this experience will provide students with cultural support during their stay at the University. It will also be useful for them to find out more about the things PUCRS has to offer.

Language and culture
Mornings have been reserved for students to learn Portuguese as a means to get them ready for the second semester at PUCRS. The program will give them the chance to come in contact with the language, have conversation practice and ask questions.
Audiovisual workshop
Students will be invited to explore the campus and shoot a video following a workshop delivered by the School of Communications, Arts and Design of PUCRS.
Crialab
Tecnopuc’s Creativity Laboratory is an area in constant evolution devoted to instigating students’ creativity. One of the afternoons will be reserved for an exclusive activity for international students.
Sports Park
Another afternoon will be devoted to sports and integration of international students at PUCRS Sports Park..
Science and Technology Museum
The Science and Technology Museum of PUCRS features fun moments and education in a fully interactive environment. International students will have the chance to explore it as part of the program.
Aeronautical Sciences
Students will have the chance to learn about the practices of the Aeronautical Sciences program and, during the visit, learn more about the flight simulators at PUCRS.
